Hey everyone coming back at you with yet another amazing blog, I want to try to keep giving you different types of unique blogs and vlogs to pique your interest. So, todays blog is about my experience working for Izlas Latin Cuisine as their photographer/videographer. I’ll always say this, when you network you never know where it will take you. If you’re an artist looking to reach your goals network your butt off even if that maybe doing free stuff. Now let’s dive into the blog!

I’ve been working for Izlas for nearly 4 months now, the major thing that’s noticeable about working there is the culture. When it comes to myself learning about others cultures and their norms has always been something that interested me. I’ve met people who are Colombian, Dominican, Brazilian, and Venezuelan which for me is very rare due to I'm not around Latin culture like that. I learned that all the different types share a deep connection of family values and togetherness, this is something I feel that my community has really lost from the late 60s on up. I see many fathers and mothers with their children spending time with each other, this is a powerful thing that helps grow the relationship between parent and child.

Now I'm not really a dancer, there is no rhythm in my body not what so ever but when you see people get on the dance floor from kids to adults my mind is blown. The rhythm of the music shoots through your body forcing you to move to the sounds. They learn at a very young age how to dance let's say at the age of 5 or 6 years old, as for me being the camera man watching behind the lens, I can see the fun they’re having. What sticks out to me is the different styles everyone uses and some styles that are mixed together creating new styles of the person comfortability, the main styles I see that are used on the dance floor are salsa and bachata. As for the main artist that’s played for the dance floor is my guy Mark Anthony a very famous Latin singer and also Selena which by the way I haven’t heard all her songs till I started shooting at Izlas.

Don’t get me started with the food, now they still make some American dishes, however they make a lot of different culture Latin dishes. They have soft tacos, carne frita, la habana mussels, arroz con pollo hp, and Nachos. The food is to die for night after night this place is packed to the point you cannot move, having food that is so addictive is a good thing. When I take my breaks there are always Grubhub people coming in large groups to pick up orders heck even customers who already ate, they always buy food to take home with them. I know every time I leave food must leave come home with me, if it keeps going this way, I will get fat.

Well I hope everyone enjoyed todays blog, I wanted to try something new for you the viewers to enjoy.
